Dr Christine Howell

I came to dentistry from a career in Marine Biology qualifying from Newcastle University in 2011 and moved to Penrith. I worked in practice for a year and then went to the Cumberland Infirmary to work in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department to improve my oral surgery skills. I went back to general practice in Brampton and shortly after joined Satya’s excellent team spending a few years at his practice in Carlisle before moving to Stricklandgate in 2018.

In 2017 I gained a diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from Manchester University and have continued to develop my skills with various courses so I can deliver the best quality work to my patients.

Outside of work, I have 3 children and a dog. I am a keen swimmer and still compete in pool and outdoor events. I also love playing water polo, running, scuba diving and anything to do with the outdoors.
